Ask your doctor. I would say no, because persons with mono should abstain from any physical activity like sports. There is a risk of your spleen rupturing, which could result in death. Wait until you're healed and cleared by a doctor.

You should not have physical contact with anyone, sexual or otherwise, while you have mono. It's extremely contagious. Though most people don't even know they have it, it can be very serious. Don't take the chance of putting your partner in the hospital, they will not forgive you.

safe in what sense? are you worried about rupturing your spleen? intercourse won't cause that. are you worried about std's or pregnancy? use protection. are you worried about your partner catching mono? good chance he will. does that answer your question?

NO
Why worry about 'safe sex'? I'd think you'd like to learn to spell first.
