I create table designs. I overlay table cloths and use binder clips, safety pins, and even paper clips to fan, ruffle, or bubble the fabric. There has to be a less tacky way to create my designs. Are there professional clips/clasps that I should be using?

Until you can purchase the professional table hook system, here's another idea that I used for many years. In any large fabric store that sells upholstery fabric, you'll find a product called upholstery twist pins. They have a clear top somewhat like a large tack. On the back side is a pointed , coiled wire, They are attached by twisting them through the table skirt and the table top cover. They securely hold the two together. Being as the top is clear, they are unnoticeable, or can be easily hidden. Look for them where they have the heavy trims and tassels.
