Since they're not water or fiber, they probably have calories, though I couldn't find a breakdown of the nutrients. More than likely, they're mostly carbs with a little protein. Trapped particles breathed in would supply trace minerals, so the composition would vary greatly by region and environment.

I believe that snot has sodium in it. Giving it that salty taste. Have you ever saw a dog lick a kids nose when its runny? I think hes going for that salty taste.
