I'm just wondering

Thank you for answering

You get infected with the HIV virus, which ultimately leads to AIDS. So, virus first.

Be careful & best of luck.

The AIDS virus is just an advanced form of the HIV virus, so I understand. I believe the person who has AIDS has an immune system that is already so broken down that it cant fight off infection. If you did have sex with someone who has AIDS, and contracted anything, I believe It would be HIV.

You may not get either. But I believe it starts with HIV and then may or may not develop into AIDS. Some people have been carriers of HIV for decades.

starts with the viral HIV and developes into AIDS .. there may be free clinics to go to if you feel you may have come into contact.
