In general, I'd say not to have sex while the woman has a yeast infection. The infection can be transmitted to the guy through both intercourse and oral sex. And it is NEVER good to have sex when you have an infection of any kind (yeast, UTI, STIs). It can be uncomfortable and can prolong the recovery process.
If you've already done it...I guess it's possible for the man to get the yeast infection if the medication hasn't taken effect yet. In this case, get the guy to a doctor or clinic. Don't self-diagnose. That could lead to problems!

From what I have read and experienced, I don't think they can get an STD but you can pass a yeast infection on to a man by having intercourse while you have a yeast infection. Yeast Infections are NOT usually considered a STD but are transmitted sexually.

Yeast infections are not and STD so no you cannot get an STD if a women had a yeast infection. The man CAN get a yeast infection from the woman though and he can wind up passing it back to her if he didn't know he had it and they had sex.

The man could get a yeast infection, more likely if the man is uncircumcised, diabetic or immune suppressed. Most of the time the man doesn't get the yeast infection, other times they do but are asymptomatic or don't notice it. The man can use the same over-the-counter cream on his penis that women use in their vagina.

are you sure it is a yeast infection? my friend had something the doctor thought was a yeast infection, but it turned out to be an Std...i am pretty sure he cant get your yeast infection if its just that, especially if she is being treated

NO!!! but men that are uncut can get a yeast infection, most women think that it's just their problem, it's not a STD

The yeasty beasties are stubborn little bastards.
If she is on a monistat or something to kill them, make damn sure you use it too. Slather that stuff all over Mr. Wiggles, especially around the head. You do not want to reinfect her.
