Anal sex is neither unhealthy nor morally wrong. It IS technically illegal in a few states under a few old sodomy laws but so is oral sex (both oral and anal are classed as sodomy). Since those laws pretty much exist only as an additional charge to hit a rapist with, a legal tactic of which I approve, I wouldn't worry too much about being arrested for violating any local sodomy laws with consensual anal sex. If you're not sure then ask yourself when was the last time that the BJ police broke down any doors in your neighborhood.
Many couples engage in anal sex on a regular basis without any harm or consequences beyond enjoying themselves. It isn't for everyone but there is nothing wrong with it or those who enjoy it. The often repeated fables that claim your rectum will fall out or that you'll have to wear a diaper for the rest of your life because you can no longer control your bowels are nothing more than myths and please remember, AIDS/HIV is NOT caused by anal sex, as if a sexual act could somehow manufacture a virus from thin air.
If someone doesn't enjoy anal then well and fine, that is your right and I support it. Just stop spreading these old wives tales and insulting those of us who do enjoy anal sex. There's probably a lot more of us than you realize, I'm just willing to admit it.

Anal sex is never healthy for either sex, bacteria is a common problem, small tears can occur in the rectum and the bacteria can get in and cause an abscess. Also, it can wear out the sphincter muscle causing bowel incontinence.

actually anal sex can be a safety hazard if the penis is pushed to far in, and should not receive ejaculation. Also, u can develop PROCTITIS< inflammation of the rectum, and that can caus a lot of problems. Be safe and if the person hurts too much, STOP.

Anal intercourse can cause problems, which many people don't look or pay attention too. Not to gross anyone out but they could make a girl constiptied or even pull her rectum out which would then need to be pushed back in.

Well the main function of the anus is to pass stools. Feces are not sanitary, in fact they are full of bacteria. There aren't enough enemas in the world to make it clean back there in my opinion. However, it that's what you like, especially if you are monogamous and use condoms, it can be perfectly fine. Just be careful.

Use a condom, and plenty of lube to make it comfortable for her. DO NOT go from her butt to her vagina or to her mouth. That is extremely unhealthy, and just plain gross. DO NOT do it. Other than that, clean up well before and after and use a condom, and you'll be fine. Have fun!
