I had xxx with a man whom I'm monogamous with. I don't have any STD's. After sex, the area just around or above the pubic area itches a bit (on him). I don't like to get waxed. So, I shave the top portion. Could this irritation be due to little baby pubic whiskers? Any suggestions (other than painful waxing?)

The itch is probably from your little hairs. Just grow your hair back in full, or shave it every single day, or wax it. Also, try different positions so that there's no friction in that spot. You might still want to tell him to see a doctor, though.

i have about three answers:

1. it's probably due to the new hair growing, it gets itchy when it grows to about a centimeter; wait til it grows longer, and if the itch doesn't stop, read number 2.

2. it must be the so-called 'jock itch'. it's a fungi infection that is also due to the reactions of your skin from the undies you wear, or you've been wearing tight jeans too frequently. try to change the jeans and/or type of undies you're wearing. to effectively get rid of the itch, crush a few cloves of garlic and rub them to the infected area...

3. well then, i guess STD cannot be taken out of the options. it is said that about 80% of carriers don't know they are infected.

there's no harm in taking it to the hands of the experts. consult a dermatologist first, and then go further...you know what i mean.
