My doctor tells me Coricidin but that doesn't even touch it. Help!

The phamacist told me the same thing. I do cheat and take a half of a dose of a cough syrup though.

I take thyroid meds too and my doc said I can take whatever works for me.
But I like the idea of calling the pharmacist. That is their specialty and they can give you better advice for that.

My home therapy is to take a lot of vitamin c (a couple of grams a day) along with steam. The steam really helps loosen up the mucous so you can cough it out. Once it's all out then likely you will feel much, much better.

Best thing is to get a cool mist humidifier. Add a pint of hydrogen peroxide to the gallon tank. Run that at night while you sleep. Hydrogen peroxide is one thing your body makes to control bugs, so you aren't introducing a foreign poison into your body.

Wow...I am on thyroid meds and did not even know that I had to be concerned about what to take. I will have to ask the endocrinologist.

call or go ask a PHARMACIST. They know more about that stuff than any doctor.
