Hypertension, or high blood pressure can be hereditary, or it can be caused by partially clogged arteries of the heart, the kidneys, etc. How can you lower high blood pressure?
1. Limit the amount of salt you eat.
2. Watch for words like sodium in the canned foods, it also means salt.
3. Exercise 30 minutes a day, (ask your doctor if this is OK first)
4. Do not stop taking your blood pressure medicines unless told so by your doctor.
5. Avoid stress
6. Practice meditation or yoga on a weekly basis.
I hope this helps.
