Did your doctor give a cardiac diet? The diet does not allow for any alcohol or salt intake. You need to limit fat intake, as well as certain foods such as pork, caffeine, etc.
No nicotine!
Eliminate any stressful situations in your life, to the extent possible.
Ask your doctor about your cholesterol and triglyceride levels and if you need medication to help control these.
