No!!!!....
DEFINATELY NO!

Only way to have aids is if your birth parents ahd them when giving birth to you or if you have sex with someone who haves AIDs...

Skin touching has no effect....also if the person "coughs" or "sneezes" on you that will also not cause you to have AIDS...

Good luck but remember if you go hugging someone then dont just decided to have sex with them..

And always ask your sexual partner if they have hepatis, HIV, aids or any virous that can be transmitted by sex....if they aint sure, i would hold off cuz you never know

good luck honey and stay safe :]...ohh and P.S even using a condom when having sex with a person who has AIDS might still give you the affection.

no. AIDS is transmitted through the exchange of bodily fluid. You can get AIDS if you share a needle with someone who has AIDS or HIV and you and if you drink their blood or have sex with them.... etc... You cannot get AIDS if you hug someone who has it unless you somehow exchange fluids through an open cut or wound. Although that type of scenario is highly unlikely. It's kind of like asking if you can get pregnant by hugging a pregnant woman.

Yeah, sure you can -- everyone watch out, because if hugs pass it so must bumping into someone that has it and I know I've bumped into people who probably have HIV...

Good grief, read up, learn the facts ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance is just inexcusable in this day and age with so many resources available.

No, of course not. HIV is an internal disease.

In plain english, it means the only way to catch it is from unsafe sex, blood transfusion and sharing needles.

Years ago, people had thought you could recieve it from saliva. But that isn't the case. The only other way you might take caution of is urine. But that chance is very slim.

Yes, if you both have any kind of cuts, open pimples, or exchange blood in any way, then yes.
All these people answering before me contradict themselves. They say "NO" and "only thru blood."
Well, isn't it possible to accidentally rub some kind of open wound against someone else's?
I know it's not LIKELY, but it's POSSIBLE.

No, you cannot. I always was nervous round this one person I knew who had it but I knew he could not give it to me by giving me a small hug.
