I went to my ob/gyn today for a pap test. I told him I thought I had a yeast infection. After he did the wet mount, he told me that I had a lot of WBC's and some inflammation, and that the yeast cells were mild. I have had a slight discharge off and on. Color wise is a light yellow, ther's no burning, itching,or foul odor. I've been with the same guy for two years and he doesn't have any problems. We both got STD testing, and nothing showed up. The doctor prescribed Diflocan. What if this doesn't solve the problem, and why are my WBC's increased?

Maybe bacterial vaginosis, gardnerella or other non-specific vaginitis of some sort or another, irritation - not necessarily due to an STD.

Diflucan is for yeast infections, it should clear that up immediately. Have you been using a new condom, lube, bubblebath, sex position in bed or something else new? Sometimes something like that can cause an irritation or introduce normal flora (bacteria) into the vagina and cause a mild infection.
