how can i pin down a hen to lay eggs in a tube so i dont have to look for them?

Umm if shes in a hen house or a large horse-sized stall or something then you only have to quickly dust around in the room. A tube is silly u goof.

i assume you live in a country area, build a chicken coup, like back in the days when people got fresh eggs from the nest...a small building about 10x10 floor space about 7 foot tall...build some boxes about 14 in x 14in, add some stray for a nest, put the hens in the building for a couple of days, have a hole where they can come in when they want like a doggy door but no flap, then a main door for you to get in. put fake eggs in the nest and they will get used to coming in their and you want have to be hunting for them.
