Get to the doctor. You're pressure is to high. you may need to alter your diet and add exercise into your day for at least 20 minutes a day. They also need to look at what medications you are on. Is there something new? Are you under a lot of stress as well. Bottom line get to the doctor.

Medication. My blood pressure was 170/110 recently. I tried exercise (swimming), and that brought it down to only 160/110. So, last month I got medication for it. I'm going back to the doctor soon to see the effect of this drug. He may try a different kind if I am not having good results with this one.

My point is - I tried to avoid medication, but the whole time I did, my BP was remaining way too high and damaging my body. Better to bring it down with drugs first, then work out any lifestyle issues that might help.

See a doctor ask good questions and study up.There are many causes for high bloodpressure like;; infections, stress, not relaxed enough, not eating well, to much sodium, too much coffee and sodas, not enough water intake, hormonal imbalance, illnesses….you mention it. When you take your blood pressure;, Sit still, relax for 5 minutes and do not talk. Visualize that your blood pressure is low. Nervousness before your blood pressure is taken will influence your blood pressure which is called white coat syndrome.

Yesterday I did a test with a 49 old gentleman, he had an infection in his lip, was stressed out because his wife is very sick, has bills to pay…etc. He had the same question so I took his blood pressure 155/98 too high. I asked him to relax and lay down for 5 minutes and no talk. I repeated the blood pressure again it was 144/89. I did EFT on him, Emotional Freedom Technique. Which takes me a minute? Simple easy acupressure points with affirmations. His blood pressure, still having his infection, came down in 2 ½ minutes to 136/73. He was so relieved and grateful. So funny you ask this question now. See source for more recipes on high blood pressure and enjoy your life, learn EFT, to get a better life and you can save on trips to doctors, psychiatrist, counselors etc.

You need to see your Dr. ASAP. Depending on your age, your BP should be in the range of 120/80. This to depends on your medical history, ie serious illnesses of any cardiac nature. The most important factor is what is refer ed to as the pulse pressure which is the difference between the upper reading ( systolic ) and the lower reading ( diastolic ). This, ideally should be approx. 40 mm of mg. For example, a BP of 120/80 relates to a pulse pressure of 40,( 120 minus 80 = 40 ) If your BP is in a constant range of 170/100 you are at high risk for a stroke, as well as other medical problems,(kidney, CHF, congestive heart failure etc.) SEE YOUR DR. He can prescribe medications which will help to keep and maintain a healthy BP for your age and med. Hx.
Good luck

I suggestion you see the doctor first.
They will tell you what's wrong with your health.

You can try cellular nutrition food which is made of herbal.
It offers you 44 nutrients that your body needs.
It's not medicine, so it doesn't work immediately.
But you'll find significant change in you blood pressure after 3 months.

That depends. Do you have a history of HTN? Do you have a family history? Are you Obese? What's your age? Are you taking any meds? Are you experiencing any symptoms? Headache, blurred vision, nose bleeds, dizzyness, and a list of others? Give more info.

Try cutting out fats and oils in your diet and start exercising. If it doesn't go down within a few weeks, then talk to your doctor about it. They'll probably put you on medication to lower it.

Is it consistently that high? Stress and adrenaline will cause it to rise temporarily. Mine stayed that way regularly so they put me on medication.
