One time after a dance, we had ice cream sundaies. We had all different kinds of toppings and everyone could make their own.

Crackers and cheese is good as well as veggies and dips.

cut fruits and nuts are the best and healthy choice for snacks along with some vegetables and a dip. also some crackers with a varity of cheese cubes will be a good choice.

for non alcoholic drinks go to food net work and search. They have some wonderful drinks.

I like the buffet idea, but I would go all out and do a ice cream bar. 2 or 3 types of ice cream and small bowls of chopped oreos, sprinkles, nuts, m&ms....you get the idea. Don't forget the whipped cream. Start everyone out with some popcorn to get thier tastebuds salty and ready for sweets.....its a splurge for anyone figure concerned, but whats one night on the binge? And you can counteract a little with light or fat free yougurt or ice cream either one!!! But above all, have fun, keep the snacks easy so EVERYONE can have fun!!! XOXO Best wishes to the bride, Lissa

Here's my favorite punch recipe (you may need to double it)

Glorious Party Punch

1 (3-ounce) package cherry gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 (6-ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
3 cups cold water
1 quart cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
24 Ice cubes (2 trays)
1 (12-ounce) bottle ginger ale, chilled
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in lemonade. Add cold water and cranberry juice. Place ice cubes into a large punch bowl; pour punch over ice. Add the ginger-ale and serve.
Serves 6

Get some cold cuts, and a nice sliced bread. Make a few sandwiches, add toothpicks in each corner, and then cut the sandwiches in quarters, pile them on plates. (figure a half sandwich per guest, if this is an after party)get a couple of different types of chips, and some big bottles of soda. Simple, not expensive, and not messy either!

Sounds like a good party!

I'd offer breakfast foods! Biscuits w/ ham, sausage, bagels w/ toppings, egg casseroles, a waffle iron on w/ some waffle batter already mixed up and a timer handy, fresh fruit cut up in a bowl, milk, juice, decaf coffee.

I love this cheese dip with tortilla chips.
Makes a huge batch, make and refrig the night before and put in crock pot to heat up that night of the party.

2 velvetta blocks- cubed and melted
1- jimmy dean "hot" sausage cooked
2 cans of rotel tomatoes
Don't drain anything, just put it all together. Mix it and heat it up.

Keep the leftover for Mac & Cheese- yummy!

Don't make any snacks that could stain dressy clothes...cheese & crackers. Serve n/a pina coladas, fun juices served in martini glasses.
