I was in India for 3 years and I love Dosai!!!! and alllllllllllll kind of sweets!!!! I think the best thing are the sweets with a cup of masala Chai:-) but I love indian cuisine......also Cholay, Daal, Vindaloo....
And Oh my God!!! how could I forget SAMOSA!!!! they are the best:-)

Personal favorites are Lamb (or chicken) Vindaloo, anything made in the Tandoor, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh, all the breads (important) like Naan and Poori, Chutneys, Basmati Rice...I could go on but I'm getting hungry lol. Don't forget the Desserts...Gulab Jamoon, Kheer (yum), Kulfi...Indians love their sweets after a meal!

Not everybody likes Indian food. So, your statement is a misnomer/invalid. But for the record, I have no preference when it comes to Indian dishes as long as its Spicy.

The problem with Indian recipes is that you cannot pick one set of preparation as all are equally tasty.For the south Indian it is fish moly/curry from Kerala,rice and sambar.,dosha,the Hydrabadi Biryani, idli,uthappam,puttu -kadala,vellappam -stew, for Mumbai it is vada pav,pav bhaji,bhel puri,pani puri, for Gujrat it is phaphda, khamand,dhokla, for Rajastan it is dal wati,chorma,kadi,for M.P ,U.P,Bihar,orissa and eastern India it is samosa,kachori,dalmod,jilebi,rabdi,puranpuri,and for Punjab and J&K it is rogan gosht,chicken tandoori ,makkai roti and sag , ta ndoor roti,nan,kulcha, tawa roti,rumali roti,pulav ,mutton mugalai,fish tandoori . Now it is for you to select your menu

well there are various foods in India, but my personal favorite is the Matter Paneer! it is like cheese in an orange soup thing and the soup has green peas in it. it is so good with Naan! well, i guess anything spicy is really popular, but there are sweets and those are good too!
