Only curry leaves (Murraya k) and coriander leaves are used commonly, the others are not commonly used. curry leaves are used in various preparation of Dal's and in the beginning of a preparation while coriander leaves are used at the end of many preparations. Coriander leaves are kept in raw form. These leaves are also used for cutneys. One can find the most sought out after plant that an indian house wife will have at her house is the curry leaf plant followed by tulsi(basil). Most of the indian households will have these two leaves of plant in their house. Iam a cook from southwest Maharashtra state of India and i can tell you that i cannot do without it.
