Difficulty breathing, rales(a crinkly sound) in the lower areas of the lungs (best heard with a stethoscope, but can be heard with an ear to the back of the affected person), maybe a slight bluish tinge to the lips, called cyanotic due to the lowered blood oxygen levels caused by poor oxygen absorbtion in the lungs due to fliud buildup. High fever and a deep racking cough that may or may not be productive. Medical attention is absolutely necessary if this is suspected, the sooner the better.
