stuff a little love note in his lunch box. That'd be incredibly sweet.
Just the act of making lunch for him alone is a sign of love and adoration.

Who said anything about a lunch box? The idea of opening a lunch box in front of colleagues and finding a 'billet doux' in there makes me cringe - and I'm a female of the species. Send the lovely boy on his way with a hug and a kiss and tell him to make sure to come back for dinner. In the meantime you can prepare the bedroom. (You are over 16 aren't you?) - If not, ask your Mum!

Please don't scare the crap out of him by being over gushing. Just be yourself and most important listen with eye and ears when he talks. As long as you give him something that isn't burnt he will like it. A special homemade dessert will go a long way in showing that you care. Back rubs are good too if he looks worn out from a long day.

We usually show others we care by spending money on them or spending time doing something for them, or with them.
You've made him something nice to eat...you could make him something durable to take with him (a sandwich, some fruit, anything wrapped in tin foil or clingfilm).
What can you do with things around the house....hmm interesting.....make him a card....write him a poem....write him a short story....have a special time with him....watch a movie you already have....listen to some music.....

if he likes chocolate, stick a couple hersheys kisses in his lunch box...or a little love note. or bake something for him, like his fave cookies. if you don't wanna do sweets, then just lunch is enough. i'm sure he'd like it if you went out of your way to look gorgeous that day and greeted him in a cute lil outfit!
