To be honest I'd not want to eat with them, you never know how the utensils were made what metals are under the outer layer that you touch when using. Sometimes metals might change their complexity when used in acids or put in hot liquids...then you are putting this into your body. You can buy some new ones at a dollar store that are safe....if you are on a tight budget or also at garage sales or maybe some friends or family members will give you some so you won't have to go into debt. I wish you were near me I have extras....take care of your health first that is most important!

Be sure to use the rust in soup...it'll be good and give you a lot of minerals. Sometimes you can get those sort of minerals by licking the floor, but it's actually better to use rusty silverware.

To be honest with you, personally I wouldn't use rusty silver ware. You might get lead poison or something.Go to wal-mart and buy some.Or the dollar store.Silverware is cheap.Beats getting seriously ill over a simple mistake that could of been easily avoided.Trust me.

I think they are letting you know it is time to retire them.

This time, buy 18/8 or 18/10 stainless steel that wont' rust!

You're just better off going to walmart and spent five bucks on sets of spoons/knives/forks. They'll be cheap quality, but at least they won't give you doses of metal oxide.

Don't use them to eat with! But you can give them to your children, to play in the sand box, or something like that.
