Sorry about your hamster. My niece is a vegan and does breastfeed her babies. She even breastfed one while pregnant with another. To me that seems like burning the candle at both ends. I worry about her bones and teeth.

Well, as a vegan teenage male, I must say that if I were a mother with a vegan baby, I'd breastfeed that baby. After all, it IS what humans are kind of biologically supposed to do.
Besides, it would be kind of silly for a mother to think that her baby taking milk from her is cruel or unethical.

I loved my hamster, too. Sorry for your loss. No factory farms are involved when a vegan breastfeeds her infant. All humans should try to feed their offspring human milk to the best of their ability. It's species appropriate.

I'm never sure if questions like this are jokes or not. Breast Milk is the perfect food for human babies. It is VEGAN to breast feed.

If they are vegan they would probably breastfeed or use soy formula, if for some reason they cannot or do not want to breastfeed.
