How fast her blood sugar comes back down depends on the type of insulin you are using. Fast acting insulin does not peak until one hour and regular insulin does peak until 3-4 hours. So you may need to wait for the insulin to have an effect.

Although the levels are very hi, this can be taken care of at home.
A person with diabetes cannot drink 4 glasses of juice in one sitting.
After this crisis passes, make sure she sees an endocrinologist who will try and see that you both get the diabetes education you need.Read everything written in the past 5 years.
You both should see a dietitian and learn more about how to eat and treat yourself with diabetes.
Good luck. It's hard to live without knowledge.

Testing your blood randomly does not give an accurate or true picture of your blood sugar. Blood sugar should be taken while fasting overnight, or 2 hours after a meal. There are charts on line to help you gauge what your sugar really is. And I always have to remind people that some machines just don't seem to get re-calibrated very often, check and see with your parents if their machine is truly accurate. And see a doctor if you are having symptoms, and if you took your blood sugar according to protocol.

The sugar reading is way too high. That is why she felt like crap. Typical should be 80-120, but sometimes higher in the T2 diabetics. When I am that high, I too have trouble with sight, concentration, and just overall sluggishness.

Suggest getting that sugar down...

She needs to go to E.R. Juice of any kind let alone 4 glasses, will put her at risk for very high blood sugars. She needs a nutritionist, have her Doctor order her to see one and make sure you go. She's slowly destroying her body with readings that high.

Get her walking around while you dial for an AMBULANCE! She needs treatment at hospital, not a call from a doctor. She also badly need dietary advice from an expert once she is over this crisis.

Go to the Doctor. Have her take meds. Drink water. She can be forming ketones and become comatose at this high sugar.
