I have had protected sex with someone "who have sex frequently", but still, I really need to get a test just to make sure I'm ok, because I am **** scared right now..

So, just wondering, when can I get an HIV urine test? Some says after 3 months, to test for antibodies that are produced to fight HIV

Thank you!

You can get tested at any time the doctor or nurse practitioner will explain the window period of testing . I'd strongly recommend a blood test though it's tried and true. Usually it is about three months after, but I've gone in a month and a half also. I usually go twice a year. But now I'm in a long term committed relationship so I go once every year.

Don't stress out just be active about taking control of your health!

We have condoms for a really good reason . please protect your body it's the only one you'll get.

Get a blood test they are much more specific and and are taken 3 months apart It is important to have the second one as well because the signs may not be detected in the first test and it acts as a benchmark against the second

HIV testing is not done with urine, it is a blood test and yes it is best to wait at least three months. It is the CD4 lymphocyte test.

they say nowadays in as little as 6 weeks but 3 months is a good window. 6 months is a scientific window for HIV. but please do a blood test-its sooo much more accurate!
