Doctors' tested me for HSV1 and HSV2 and both came back negative. Antibiotics decrease the symptoms but can't get rid of it completely. Whenever I don't get enough sleep and my immune system is low, my throat gets really sore, when I get my sleep, it's only slightly sore. Anyone had a similar experience? What was it?

It would appear that ypou need to have throat culture to grow the organism that keep reinfecting you. Of course there is also the distinct possibility that you are being infected by someone else. Kissing a carrier of strep throat can reinfect you Your immunity cannot deal with this and the antibiotics are innefective toi this strain of bug. That is why I suggest throat swabs to correctly identify the invader and have the appropriate drugs, Streptomycins rather than other bacteriocudes prescribed.
Also if my theory is correct your partner may need to have a course as well. But take the advice and get the job done properly so you can get on top of this problem
