I do, too! It is laugh-induced asthma. Do you get a wheeze with it? Have had it all my life. Asthma is a lung disease caused be several things which make you wheeze because your airways become swollen.

as a nurse and an asthmatic, sounds like asthma to me!
appears to be mild, try drinking a strong cup of regular black
tea when this occurs. Opens the lungs and stops the coughing.

Could be a flap in your throat that is getting caught and maybe you just need a little MINOR surgery by and ENT (ear, nose and throat) doctor to remove a little skin. You should get it checked out - you will be glad.
