I've never had one, but I'm curious about how they start. I know that they are transmitted via sex, and that's how they spread, but I'm caught in lke a chicken and egg conundrum. A lot of attention has been directed toward how the HIV virus started before transmission, but what about other STDs? If everyone who has an STD was somehow magically "cleansed", would the same diseases surface without carriers to transmit them?

If everyone was magically cured of all STDs, then those diseases simply wouldn't exist anymore. For example, Smallpox... it isn't an STD, but it was eradicated and so now there's no more smallpox anywhere in the world (except the government kept a few copies). This is because diseases don't just pop out of nowhere, they have to be passed from one person to another (though some diseases are passed from animals to people, or from the environment to people).

But diseases do sometimes "jump" from animals to people, or even from one part of the human body to another. Scientists believe HIV jumped from chimpanzees to humans, and oral herpes can infect the genitals. So even if every STD was cured... heck, even if every single human disease on the planet was cured... it would only be a matter of time before some other microbe adapted itself to be able to infect humans and cause disease.

I hope this is helpful

This is an unbelievable but true story.
Back in the days of the Black Death when 1/3 of the known world's population was wiped out. Things were very grim, as you might expect.
When it finally became apparent that the plague was over, the will to procreate went crazy. Everyone was screwing whatever they could, Seriously. A biological urge to replace what had been lost.
It was at this point, that man contracted gonorrhea. Gonorrhea from sheep.
I read a great book on The Great Plague but I cant remember the name of it. Written by a woman with three names.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about 4 yrs ago, when I was still attending college and had a silly one-night stand. I understand a lot of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone that has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/itZgv everything improved.

Not only was I able to eliminate all traces of the herpes virus from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This method provided the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.

I'm pretty sure that AIDs developed in Africa from some sort of monkeys. Hunters got it from getting contact in an open wound with the blood.
