Lately I have been getting sore in the ribs and extremely tired. Also through the night when I turn to my side or my stomach I feel a cracking or snapping in the middle of my chest, this has been going on for about two weeks now. Like you know when someone cracks their knuckles that kind of a sound. Does it sound like I have a chest infection/cold? Has anyone felt this in their chest at all? Or could I have a slight case of pnemonia and if so is this harmful if left untreated for too long?

Well i get that too but I'm still 16, does that mean I'm going to have a heart attack too.

The only way to get an informed answer to this is for you to have a chest xray. Broken sternum perhaps, but no one can really answer that question without the proper means of an examination.

Go to your doctor. It's been a long time since I have had a chest infection, but I remember a crackling sound in my lungs.

I would ask your doctor, could be a sign of a heart attack, so I wouldn't ignore it.
