Would you date a person with a incureable std? Examples include HPV, genital warts, herpes? Why or why not?

ya if i loved the person, i had hpv on my cervix but i had it laserd away. I would be happy they were honest with me about it and i think its like 80 percent of the north american population gets the hpv virus at some point and 1 in 4 have herpes and only 10 percent with herpes know they have it so its like really ignorant to not date a person because of that.

Most likely not. Generally it was their own fault for not having protected sex and since I've never had an STD I wouldn't take the chance of ever getting one, let alone taking the chance of never being able to have a baby that would be born with issues (i.e. - HIV). That just isn't the kind of life I want.

Bui of course in just dating I might not even be aware of the problems. But if the subject came up i would not consider having any sexual relationships
But i would continue as a friend if we were compatible

Yes If I liked the person. Then if we loved each other I could deal with and STD, as long as they are honest and open about it.

Probally not I would be scared of the risks of my own health... I understand that the person could be a wonderful person but I don't want to risk my health and well being.

My boyfriend loves me for who i am and i have genital herpes. its not as bad as people think it is.i have had it for almost a yr and ive had one out break. we do have unprotected sex and he hasnt caught it. but i dont break out with it.

I really don't think so, relationships don't last, so I don't want a gift that keeps on giving after the relationship is over.
