Gonorrhea is not the same thing as HIV/AIDS, nor can gonorrhea lead to HIV/AIDS. They are separate STDs. However, both gonorrhea -and- HIV/AIDS can be contracted from sexual contact.
However, it is in your best interest for your own personal health and well being to see a doctor if you have -any- STD.

Gonorrhea is an infection caused by a bacteria (gonococcus). It is treatable by antibiotics that would have been prescribed when you were diagnosed. HIV/AIDS is caused by a virus, so one doesn't lead to the other. However, if you are infected by one STD then is is wise to be tested/checked out for all, because your risk of any other STD is elevated. GO TO YOUR DOCTOR.

The longer you are infected with a STD the more likely it will progress to PID (pelvic inflammatory disease). If this happens you will most likely need an inpatient hosptialization to clear it up using IV antibiotics. PID often leads to an inability to have children and pelvic pain for the rest of your life due to scarring and adhesions. What in the world are you thinking for the past year? Denial of the existance of a problem is like covering your eyes and thinking something disappears just because you can't see it anymore. Uncover your eyes, grow up, and get moving to your healthcare providers office.

Only if the person you got it from or someone else you had sex with has hiv too. There should be some kind of clinic you can go to yourself and they will help you. Look in the phone book. You have to go to the Dr.

a doctor will never tell your parents. If your worried about that go to plain parenthood or any other clink. There are STD's if left untreated can case blindness, leave you sterile or make you go crazy if the infection goes to the brain. Seek treatment ASAP.
