No, you should not be worried. It could be trash in the x-ray holder that causes a mark on the film, could be roller marks on the film caused by the developing machine, static marks, etc.. It has nothing to do with the patient.

Not to worry. An artifact on an x-ray is just something that should not be there, like the static you hear on a radio. Could be a piece of lint on the x-ray table, even.
