I currently sell Mary Kay while enjoying my 3 children. I have one year to complet in school, however, I'm not sure I'm up for the challenge. Does anyone have some pros and cons about RT's?

I am not that familiar with RT, but if something is telling you that is not the job for you than keep going to school, there are so many other career's that you may really find something else to your liking. Good Luck. I just started going back to school my kids are in Junior high and boy do I wish I had gone years ago, I can barely remember my basics, but that is where I am starting. So good for you =) keep on trucking along.

I am an RRT and I also am starting a family. I love my job and my child. I work 3 12 hour shifts which most places do so you will have 4 days to stay home with the little ones. I thought about being a stay at home mom but I truly love my job and am glad to be able to help other. Are you a CRT now or are you starting the program. You can choose the type of challenges you want from Home Health which is very simple to ER work that is very demanding. It is up to you but their are lots of choices out there for you. Best of luck deciding and if you go have fun being a Respiratory Therapist.

Choice depends on what makes you happiest. Your children are only young once, you can always take up study after they leave home, however, if you are not happy/fulfilled in your current situation you are not really there for your kids, you're just going through the motions. Quality and quantity of time spent together is important when kids are young... if you go back to school, will you have enough energy left over for the children?... how and when are you going to study? On the other hand, going "back to work" can be a lot easier than being a full-time mom.

Hi There, I am not sure what you are after, however we have found network marketing a great way for my partner to earn good money to stay at home. The company we have joined is called Nikken. We are currently earning about $1600 to $2000 a month.
