RBC or red bllod celle count low

There are a few things this can mean, and you need to speak with your doctor on this and find out exactly why your count is low.

Here are a few, Aneaemia, Hemmorage, Hodkins disease, Bone Marrow disease radiation sickness.
Red blood cells are produced in the Haversian canal of long bones.

If it is as simple as aneaemia then you can raise red blood cells by taking iron tablets, eating chopped liver, or having a transfusion of packed cells or whole blood.
I am presuming you have been told by your doctor that thie low red cell count is actually present.

Most times it is followed up very quickly by any physician that receives notification that his patient has this problem.

The condition needs proper investugation and treatment early to ensure it is one of the simple reasons. If it is any of the more serious problems, early intervention is just as important, the treatement is more involved and longer term. Consult with your doctor and see that you get the right answers and don't let this situtaion linger on.

A blood count measures many of the elements in blood (white cells, red cells etc). The most common number which is low is haemoglobin. If you are pale and breathless at times this is the one you might mean. Eat foods with a good iron content...see link for list of good foods which will healp raise iron ( and thus haemoglobin) levels.

You really could do with adding a few more details of what is low so that you can get a more accurate answer.

"Low blood count" usually means low red blood cell count, also called anemia. There are many different causes, and the way to raise counts depends on the cause.
If you happen to be a young, otherwise healthy woman, the most likely cause of low blood count is iron deficiency amenia, because of menstrual blood loss. An iron supplement can help in this case.
Other causes of anemia include bleeding from other sites, vitamin B12 or folate deficiency, diseases of the bone marrow (where red blood cells are produced), and rarely, conditions that lead to destruction of the red blood cells.
Your doctor should be able to tell you which of these applies to you. He/she can recommend you iron supplement, B12/folate supplements, or if necessary, special injections that stimulate the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells.

It depends on what blood count. If you mean white blood cells, or red blood cells it depends on why your blood count is low.
