Okay, so I am turning 18 at the end of april, and I need some ideas. I dont want a party but my mom wants to have one for me. So I need some party ideas. Food? Music? Games? other entertainment. I dont like to have be the entertainer. i am supposed to be the birthday girl :)

I see some good ideas in the list. I guess it depends on if you want it to be small or large, have a few friends or tons of friends, have family or not...
Personally I liked having just a small party with family and a very few select friends that were my closests friends. We had the small party to have cake at home, relaxed for a while, and then me and my friends went out all night to dance and watched the sunrise from a diner in the morning.

Ok, I felt the same way in some ways,So when i turned 18, my mother wanted a party for me, like your mom, Soo i told my mother that to invite all of her half of the family and your dads half, and invite all your cousins and aunts and uncles, Dont have any friends, and make a theme call it, Family And Family from my past, Have a buffet were every one can help themselves filled with some hot stuff and lots of cold cuts and sandwich makings, and cake at the end, That will make her happy, and you will feel more comfortable with relatives

Hawaiian theme party. Order chicken and beef. Buy the sides. Rent a karaoke machine. Have a limbo contest, singing contest, just have fun. Good luck.

Do something different. Go to a ceramic studio and paint. They usually have packages that include everything except the food. I have a ceramics studio and have parties here all the time, not just birthday. It is fun, it is inexpensive (at least mine are) and you don't have to set up or clean up.

have a swimming poll party it is fun, and it is under control and it not much like a b-day party just a party with all ur friends

u can have everyone come in nice dresses and suits, get a dj, rent something in a hotel to host this, and watch sweet sixteen on mtv for ideas
