What is a normal level for people without diabetes and the maximum value your blood sugar should be at?

Websites and books all have their own values. From http://www.overcome-diabetes.com/educator63.htm “In people without diabetes, blood glucose usually does not exceed 7 mmol/l” that means the glucose level should not be over 7 mmol/l x 18 = 126 mg? Is that random values? Other places say 110 mg or even 100 mg. Randomly I range 72 to 200, is this normal?

I was at 159 mg after working out and my doctor said it is a normal value for non-diabetics

Thank you for all you’re your great input

Normally, blood glucose levels stay within narrow limits throughout the day: 4 to 8 mmol/L (70 to 150 mg/dL). Levels rise after meals and are usually lowest in the morning, before the first meal of the day.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Between 4-7 mmol/l is what I was taught. Fasting levels can be a bit lower- 3.4mmol/l-7 mmol/l.So sorry it should probably read 3.4-7 mmol/l. In people with diabetes should ideally be under 8mmol/l. Also I believe a fasting BSL over 8mmol/l in someone previously without diabetes indicates diabetes.

Depending on the doctor, his training and the lab he/she uses, what is considered a normal blood glucose can vary. Most consider between 80 and 120 normal and I've seen some as low as 60. For me, if my sugar gets to 60 I feel awful!

I am a type two diabetic and my "normal" levels are between 90-120, and up to 140 fasting. When I excersize my levels drop to normal if they are high. This is pretty typical for ME, but you will have a different but simular story.your doc should know, try a nutritionist.
I hope that helps.
