I have an appt booked with my specialist next week but am just interested if anyone has any info. I have noticed over the last few weeks an almost perfectly circular black dot in the vision of my right eye. Does anyone know what the symptoms of diabetic retinopathy? And if this is anything to really worry about?

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Unfortunately, It kind of sounds like diabetic retinopathy. My friend had a retina detatchment in which she saw black spots as well or as she described 'missing pieces". Fortunately, there is a surgery that you can have now to prevent any further damage to your eye and prevent blindness but its a good idea to get this checkout asap. GOOD LUCK and i hope its not diabetic retinopathy. I am also a diabetic and always have feared this complication the most.

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/m1P3q

A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

Hi Cat. I know all too much about retinopathy. It is the result of high glucose levels that cause the blood vessels to swell and sometimes burst, causing a hemmorhage like effect. The spot is usually an indication of the broken vessel. See the specialist. He/she will likely dilate your eyes to get a good look at your retina. (Bring sunglasses even if it is cloudy out). The forst dilation is weird but painless. There have been many, many advance in retinopathy and, better control is often treatment enough. You can consult the ADA(American diabetes assoc) for up to date into.

It sounds like you have a floater.
Floaters are very common, and they are usually completely harmless. They can occur in people with completely healthy eyes. However, rarely, especially if you are suddenly seeing a large number of new floaters, they can be a sign of serious and urgent problem: retinal detachment, hemorrhage (bleeding). This would need immediate attention!

People with diabetes should have their eyes checked regularly to detect diabetic retinopathy before any symptoms would occur.

Good luck with your eye dr appointment! :)
