This is very common among the Fire, EMS, Rescue workers, Welders and others that were at the WTC on 911 and after. The toxins in the air and from the dust that was kicked up by the collapse and subsequent removal is giving people a wide variety of problems with their respitory tracts. There are a large number of articles on this. He needs to seek medical attention as soon as possible, he should see an oncologist and a pulmonary specialist, it should include testing for cancer, asthma, chronic brohncitis, emphysema, as well as complete blood work ups, and chest xrays, or a CT / MRI of the chest. So far there are hundreds of people with the similar problem. I have attached one link out of the many available about this problem.

curiously, the authorities doesn't even understand yet. WTC7 change into deliberately excluded from the 911 fee document because the authorities might want to no longer arise with a obtainable rationalization for it. We nevertheless look ahead to a proof. it is going to not in any respect come, because it change right into a managed demolition which, for sure, the authorities can not admit. the authorities must have performed the tale different for WTC7. in the adventure that they'd devised a narrative that one way or the different the terrorists were in a position to envision explosives, likely the commonplace public might want to have offered the products. quite, they wrestle to declare something thoroughly wonderful, and that has brought about many human beings to commence searching more effective heavily often of the authorities's bill of goods surrounding 911. next time, they're going to understand more effective powerful. Sloppy artwork. And in case you doubt no matter if events of the importance of 9/11 might want to correctly be coated up, imagine again. The day previously 9/11, Rumsfeld stated that 2.3 TRILLION money change into lacking. that could want to pay about 25,000 human beings $one hundred million each. might want to 25,000 human beings pull off 9/11. definite, for sure they could, exceptionally thinking it change into President Bush's kinfolk in value of protection on the international commerce middle, a reality the important flow information seems reluctant to point. no less than, the authorities had strengthen caution of 9/11.

I'm glad to hear he survived the awful ordeal. I am guessing that your dad has lung damage and he can be treated by a lung specialist. He will have xrays, take a breathing test, and then be evaluated as to how much damage has been done. He will perhaps be given inhalers to use to help him breathe better, and hopefully be taught to do purse lip breathing exercises in order to help himself to breathe better when he gets winded. Often anitbotics are given if a bacterial infection shows up in his bronchials. There are many selfhelp things that a person can do to help with this condition.

I worked there for the Red Cross; it was quite an experience. I'm not a doctor but there is a set of symptoms being called World Trade Center Cough. If you check out http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/html/wtc/index.html you can find a lot of information and links to help. Good luck.

Your dad may have damaged his bronchial tubes and/or lungs that awful day. He may have developed asthma or emphysema. Whatever it is, he should be under a doctor's care for this. I can't even imagine how bad the smoke was from the jet fuel, burning bodies, chemicals from the offices, melting plastic, and carpeting just to mention a few things. I'm so glad to know his life was spared.
