Absolutely. The herpes virus can lay dormat in your nervous system for years before it appears. Its possible to go through your entire life and not know you had the virus.
There are many people carry the virus without ever knowing they are infected.

alot of people dont have symptoms for a long time after they contract the virus sometimes never so thats why you need to be tested at least every 6 months

There is no way. A leison is so painful that you will have to go to the hospital. This is not something that you over past. If you don't get this disease treated when the leisons start then later it can get bad enough that you can die.
