pLus, you'd probably have to drink gallons of saliva of an infected person for you to acquire the disease in that way.

The only way you get HIV is through bodily fluids ie blood, semen, vaginal fluids. you cannot get it through sharing fluids or drinking out of a cup. The only way that might happen is if there was the HIV persons blood on the cup or in the water and the non-HIV person drank it. As long as youre careful with other peoples body fluids youll be ok.

I haven't heard of it spreading that way. But, if the non HIV person had an open sore, maybe they should be a little bit careful.

It is not possible to contact AIDS after sipping from the same cup as the virus is not cotagious like TB or cold or any other infectous virus and basically it gets transmitted through intercourse or through blood transfusion and very rarely through saliva.

it's possible if both people had open sores but i doubt it. some people don't even get hiv from having unprotected sex w/ hiv infected people so it would be extremely rare to get it from sharing a drink w/ them. don't worry about it

it can not be spread by drinking from the same cup unless their's an open cut in both their mouthes where blood goes in the cup..you cannot transmit it by anything but blood & sexual contact.
