Do condoms become ineffectual when they get below freezing? We kept them in the car in the winter & want to know if they are still usable.

NO... not really. Latex like all rubber has a melting and freezing point. When it reaches these points and put back into normal temperature the latex has deteriorated greatly or lightly depending on the extremities of weather and temperature. If it was frozen and then thawed it would most likely be brittle and highly likely to break at a small stretch. So don't use it unless you want a kid!

the right thanks to instantly thaw frozen meat is like this: a million. position the poultry in a bowl 2. positioned a plug interior the kitchen sink, and position the bowl of meat interior the sink 3. turn on the nice and cozy water and fill the sink till that is about an inch from the total of the bowl. The water will ultimately flow chilly so that you will be desiring to drain the sink and replenish it some cases till the beef has thawed. the secret is to thaw it calmly with oblique warmth. operating warm water over it received't artwork as factors of that is going to proceed to be frozen even as different factors are thawed. I attempt this each and each and every of the time. there is not any probability of micro organism or nutrition poisoning as you'd be cooking it at intense warmth - that kills any micro organism.

I'm going to say that they aren't still useable. By freezing your destroying the protection barrier of the condom. Just get some more. They aren't that expensive, especially when you compare it to having a child.

blow one of the condom like a balloon and see if it intact in all aspects and there are no holes in it and if is ok then probably others of the same batch would be same and you can use them but I would suggest you to throw them away and buy new ones and that would be more hygenic.

Errrr... I wouldn't risk it. Condoms can be unstable when it comes to high and low tempertatures due to the properties of latex.

Condoms... $9.99
A Kid... ah hah, more...

Yep, unlike frozen meat that's been thawed and refrozen it's safe as long as it has not been opened to expose it to air for a long time as oxygen tends to breakdown the latex ......as will direct sunlight. Just don't eat them or wear them to the beach and you'll be just fine.........
