Looking to learn some Asian dishes. Would like to start out with some simple ones that would be good for a kid who doesn't like a whole lot of vegetables.

Fried rice and ramen noodles are the best and easy to prepare. You can use the vegetables as garnishes and make them look interesting for the child. You can tuck in some egg and soy sprouts for more protein in both dishes.

This is a simple Korean meat marinade for grilled items....

1/4 veg oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
1-4 chooped garlic cloves
1/4 tsp black pepper
2-4 tbsp sugar
1 chopped green onion

Mix all ingredients together and then pour over meat to marinate for an hour. I use a zipper bag for this.

I must also say that this recipeis very forgiving, I never measure and as long as I have some of each ingredients in the mix, it still tastes delicious. I will sometimes sub a cola for the sugar and veg oil.... very nice for flank steak.

Easy Chinese recipes!
If you go to a Chinese or asian grocery then look for this large melon thing called winter melon.
Buy a slice of it that will serve the amount of people that are eating (about five slices per person for two servings).
wash lightly, Cut off rind and clean out soft seed middle. Slice into Inch wedges that are a 1/4 inch thick.
Add to a pot of water and add sesame oil and salt ot taste. Let boil. To serve, add sliced scallion and celontro. (a very small amount of pork can be added to this if wanted. Just fry a quarter cup of ground pork in oil before adding melon, water and oil.)
Trust me this is a great dish and is so Chinese it ain't funny.

You can also be very beijing and do scrambled eggs with tomatoes.
3 eggs
4 ripe tomatoes
2Tbs oil
1 tsp salt
1.5 Tbs Sugar
1 Scallion sliced
1/2 tsp ginger minced

Remove skins from tomatoes by blanching, Deseed and chop onto large pieces. Beat eggs with salt and fry in oil till thickened. Pour into bowl. fry ginger, scallion, for a few seconds, add tomatoes, a pinch of salt, sugar. reintroduce eggs. Fry till eggs are fully set but not browned. There will be juice from this but its not egg, just tomatoe and sugar. Serve with rice. Like I said, very Beijing.Infact the sweeter the better.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aNDX7

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

oh em gee! vegetables are so GOOD cooked asian style! just sautée them (kinda like light fried) in vegetable oil in GARLIC and onion and soy sauce. then add like 3 teaspoons of tapioca starch (this is to make sauce thicker) in half a cup of water, stir, and let it cook. add pepper and salt as you wish.

then you can have some rice with it, or noodles. saute noodles, with scallions (green onions) if you want, in vegetable oil and garlic. add a bit of soy sauce till they're brown and voila! yummy yummy yummy.
