Subgum translates to 'many varieties". Subgum is often a friend rice or a chop suey.
My family owned one of the first Chinese restaurants in the San Fernando Valley (suburb of Los Angeles) and the Chicago style chop suey had no bean sprouts in it. Whereas the traditional chop suey did. The Chicago style had more diced vegetables in it from what I recollect.

Yes. Executive Power from the real world of Chicago is probably what the country need. We need intimidating mafia and teamster types to get this country back on track. The last 8 years was wasted on some oil lovin' cowboy wanna be and we see what he has done to the country.
