you can try many different products, also give then a fair chance of working, like use then for more than a couple days. Dove intense therapy is good. Or try showering with bottled water. Just keep trying things and get regular trims.

You don't have to cut it all off but, get it trimmed alot. I have medium to thinish hair and the last time i got a cut, my hairdresser razor cut it and it has never been more damaged than after this hair cut. So i will not do that again!
You can't really restore it but, there are some "silk" named products will make it look better although, i am pretty sure they aren't good for your hair.

Sounds like you've really damaged your hair. In order to repair it, you gotta stop doing all this stuff to your hair. And whatever you do, DO NOT use any alcohol based hairsprays. Now I think you know that hair is dead anyway, there's no blood flowing in your hair. But just cool off on all the styling, and you'll probably have to cut off some hair, in order to restore it.

so do i, kelly. try putting tea tree or jujbe oil on your hair at night, wrapping with a towel, and using a VERY mild shampoo when showering in the a.m. then leaving in a conditioner that has one of these oils in it. when you shampoo, just shampoo your scalp, and not your hair. go for as long as possible without shampoo on your hair just your scalp, as this is one reason it's dry. get it trimmed just a little at a time. so that it grows back the length between snips. good luck.

Cut it! It may seem like a huge loss but your hair will recover much more quickly if it's fresh than if you just keep conditioning it. Overconditioning causes greasy, weighed down hair and it's not attractive. You can try a Kerastase treatment which is very expensive but if that doesn't do it, you're just going to have to cut to get healthy hair back.

You can try slathering it with mayonnaise (yuck!), creamy petroleum jelly, or olive oil, cover it with a plastic bag and leave it in as long as you can stand it (like HOURS). A little heat helps too---sunshine, not a dryer. My old roommate had a lot of success using Tresemme conditioner like this, but it sounds like your hair may be worse.
You can call a salon or just drop by and just ask them if there's anything they can do to help you.

Well... err... of course. If you don't like it, get contacts. And as scene hair you mean poofy at the top straight on the sides? And different colors or black? Theres alot of girls in my school atleast that has that sense of hair style and wear glasses, usually rectangular ones. Seperating into cliques might not be perfect, but its your choice and im sure itll look great.

Get a deep conditioner (like the V05 oil). And see a stylist who specializes in long hair (they do exist, my sister used to go to one) she might b able to help (these are mostly at high-end salons and will be pricey).
Good luck

well that is one way to really fix it to cut it all off. but when you get out of the shower and you hair is dry, i recomend that you use sunsilk hydra tlc to make your hair healthier looking. but dont use expensive hair products to fix it. some times expensive stuff doesnt even work. but i think you shouldnt perm or color your hair because of the ammonium and harmful products are damaging your hair. also recomended hair products are garnier treseme or dove.
