you can get anything on your hands. however, what kind of std are you talking about? the most common viruses are hep a, b, and c. hep a lives in bacteria soiled things like rotten food and feces and easy to get rid of if found in time. hep b is a blood borne pathogen and can be a std and is very hard to get rid of if caught early. hep c is also consider a atd and cannot get rid of but you can live with it with medication to supress it. hiv(aids) live in blood and blood only. the minute it recieves any kind of oxygen, the virus dies. hope this helps you understand more and wash your hands.

I got identified with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about three yrs ago, when I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I realize loads of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/ux5W2 everything got better.

Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the herpes virus from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This system provided the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.

You can definately transfer the infections that way (bacterial) - some can affect the eyes, mouth and nose. But as far as infecting your hands themselves, no. They thrive in moist, warm and dark environments. Just keep your hands away from your face until you wash them WELL...
HIV and hepatitis are different (viral). All it would take is an open sore or scratch on your hand for that...
