Yes it does. Caffeine has an ensyme in it that simulates insulin in the blood and affects the amount that your body produces as a result.

I am not a doctor or a professional, or even a legal adult, but I do read a listen a lot. My mother is a heavy coffee drinker and has been since she was about 20. She's had two children children. She did have problems getting pregnant with my late sister, but the doctor never said anything about caffein being the proglem (granted that was 25 years ago). She remarried and had no problem getting pregnant with me. I've read that it is recommended to stop drinking caffeine when you are actually pregnant, but never while you're trying to get there. (I'm a caffeine addict myself and I like to do research on what it's doing to my body, hehe). It probably has as much to do with your husband and his "swimmers" as it does with your coffee drinking. God just doesn't want you getting pregnant yet. Your time will come. GOOD LUCK AND I PRAY YOU HAVE A HEALTHY BABY!

Yes, Caffeine affects everyone, but can be detrimental to a diabetic. Caffeine constricts your blood vessels, and diabetics sometimes have circulation problems. Its also a diuretic, making you pee frequently, which probably isn't good for the kidneys, another vital organ affected by diabetes.
There's plenty of decaf out there- drink that!
