I'm just having a hard time remembering to check my blod sugars.

I set alarms on my phone, but I don't have anything like a set schedule. In the mornings I try to remember but usally I wnat food right away and then realize that I alreayd ate and haven't checked my sugar yet. Any helpful hints on how to remember.

PS: If this question looks familiar I ahd one like it earlier, but no one even gave a remotely close answer to what I needed.

signs. lots of signs. do them up in bold print on index cards. it won't be long before it becomes routine and you won't forget, at least not as much. the regrigerator and snack cabinets are good places. tape one to the table, where you usually sit. leave the machine out in a convenient place. get a kitchen timer and set it for next time, each time it goes off.

i like to keep one monitor at home and one in my purse.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I leave my meter next to my kettle. That way I test as I wait for my cup of tea. Then I just make sure I test before eating. If you keep your insulin pen with the meter it should help you to remember

Once you get in the routine you will be fine

Hope this is some use

I check right when I get out of bed. At work, I check before I clock out for lunch. When I eat lunch and/or dinner at home, I always sit in the same room where I set my purse (which holds my meter), so looking at the purse makes me remember. At night, I check right before I go to bed.

It can be hard to remember, but if you get into a routine, its almost impossible to forget.

Best of health to you and yours.

For me at first when they came out with the bs meter ( I had diabetes way before they did ) it was my husband and constantly reminding myself to do it later it was because I wanted to live longer ( and a lot of nagging from the Dr.) Try if your a TV watcher to time it with the TV shows.

some meters have alarms on them that you can set. I don't have this problem but mine does have 3 different times you can set for it to remind you. The accuchek one with the lacent pen attached.
