Health Tip: Prevent HIV infection
• Stay faithful to your partner; do not have multiple sex partners.
• Avoid sex with an infected person and commercial sex workers.
• Use a condom for barrier protection.
• Do not reuse needles or syringes.
There really is no such thing as "safe" sex. The only truly effective way to prevent STDs is abstinence. Sex in the context of a monogamous relationship wherein neither party is infected with a STD also is considered "safe." Most people think that kissing is a safe activity. Unfortunately, syphilis, herpes, and other infections can be contracted through this relatively simple and apparently harmless act. All other forms of sexual contact carry some risk. Condoms are commonly thought to protect against STDs. Condoms are useful in decreasing the spread of certain infections, such as chlamydia and gonorrhea; however, they do not fully protect against other infections such as genital herpes, genital warts, syphilis, and AIDS.
Chlamydia, human papillomavirus (HPV), gonorrhea, herpes, hepatitis (multiple strains), and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) — including HIV — can be transmitted through oral sex.
Several STDs do not show any symptoms. Example: Chlamydia, Hepatitis B and C, Genital warts, Herpes etc.
Please see the web pages for more details on Sexually transmitted diseases.

How can you be 100% positive the other person isn't lying to you? Both of you should go to a clinic, have STD tests done, wait until the results are back, then go ahead depending on whether the tests are negative or positive. That is the only TRUE way of knowing for sure whether a person is totally "clean" or not.
Be careful, your life may be on the line.

I would say no. If you are each others first and only, then no you can't get an STD. Unless one of you cheats and catches one.The only other way is through an injection by a dirty needle or something. I have heard of people getting things from the dentists chairs though.

first, im a scorpio to that kicks azz,
second, (as a neurotic) i have put in plenty of research to your issue....
If you two are both clean you do not have to worry bout STDs,
(although i reccomend using a rubber, cause you nevr know what a chick could do behind your back)
Although! Cold sores (form of herpes) if contacted physically on the wrong areas can lead to real herpes....
(little side info) Another unpredicatable way to get screwed over for life, is (read in New York Times paper) if you go to a hookah bar and use a used pipe.....
thats of course not really related to sex....
watch out for sores, gross lieing chicks and what not and youll be fine... :

there is still a chance, just because you dont have an infection that is showing from an STD doesn't mean that the bacteria and virii does not live on the human body. always use protection unless your married and have both been tested and faithfull.

There are very limited chances of you acquiring an STD from someone who has not had sex before. But you have to be very carefull. How do you really know that she/he actually never had sex.
Its always better to protect yourself or do tests to be on the safe side. You can never be too carefull.

this question is odd... if your old enough to have sex ...then you should be old enough and smart enough to know this answer...stds come from having sex ...if you both are your first and only there should be no worries ...if you contract an STD ...clearly you were not the first and only lol
