Occasional??... nothing, besides an immense amount of fat, but hey, you only live once, right!
If you are a vegetarian, however, it will wreak havoc on your digestive system.

You get fat and other unnecessary ingredients with any bacon cheeseburger, occasionally or not.
Decision is yours.

All kidding aside, what's wrong with the occasional dog burger topped with kitten liver?

Erm it can make a vegetarian sick depending on how long they have been a vegetarian or vegan. I think I'd get sick eating one after being meat free for over four years.
Have fun clogging up your arteries! :D I'll stick with my veggie burgers ;)

Faken (Veggie Bacon)
"This marinated smoked tofu fries up into crisp veggie bacon! Freezing the tofu and thawing helps to improve the texture, and makes it easier to slice."
Original recipe yield:
4 servings
PREP TIME 15 Min
COOK TIME 5 Min
INGREDIENTS
·1 (7.5 ounce) package smoked firm tofu, frozen and thawed
·1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
·1 tablespoon water
·2 tablespoons maple syrup
·1 dash liquid smoke flavoring (optional)
·2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
·1 teaspoon onion powder
·1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
·2 tablespoons butter or margarine
DIRECTIONS
1.Slice the thawed tofu into very thin slices (like bacon). In a medium bowl, stir together the yeast, water, maple syrup, liquid smoke, soy sauce, onion powder and garlic powder. Place the tofu strips into the bowl to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
2.Heat butter or margarine in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Quickly fry tofu strips until crisp, turning once, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels, and serve immediately.

Beet this Burger (grand prize winner)
Our $500.00 grand prize went to the Vegetarian Society, Inc. of Los Angeles, California. Their "Beet This Burger" recipe was developed by lifetime society member Olinda Cho-Forsythe. Olinda is a native of Guatemala and a full-blooded Mayan. She developed her burger recipe in the kitchens of the Gran Fraternidad Universal, a fraternal organization dedicated to world peace and to promoting the vegetarian diet through its centers and restaurants throughout Latin America. The burger has the unusual addition of 1 tbs of grated beets -- just enough to give it a pleasant color.
ï· 1 Tbs finely grated raw beet
ï· 1/2 cup cooked oats (quick or regular rolled oats)
ï· 1 cup uncooked oats (quick or regular rolled oats)
ï· 1/2 cup walnuts, coarsely ground
ï· 1/4 cup almonds, coarsely ground
ï· 2 Tbs sesame seeds
ï· 1 Tbs Vegix seasoning or instant vegetable broth
ï· 1/4 cup green pepper, minced
ï· 1/4 cup celery, minced
ï· 1/4 cup onion, minced
ï· 1 tsp dried basil
ï· 1/4 tsp dried thyme
ï· 1/4 tsp dried thyme
ï· 1/4 tsp ground sage
ï· 1/4 tsp mustard powder
ï· 2 Tbs soy sauce
ï· 1 Tbs nutritional yeast flakes (optional)
Mix all ingredients together well. Form into patties and gill until cooked through. Serve on whole wheat rolls with tomato slices and your favorite condiments.

It's your life, live it. But if it's more than occasional, you'll probably get fat. And no one loves a fatty.

I say nothing wrong with it as long as you get it at a restaurant that knows how to make a good one. Better still buy fresh ground beef and make your own.
