I'm a vegetarian so I won't rub it in your face. I totally agree.

Yes, you are right... not exactly sure the logic will convince any mean meat eaters though.
Veg*ns' family members will make jokes about shoving meat down their throats against their wills.

People at business meetings will make you explain over and over why a fish is not a vegetable, ask as many questions as possible about your lifestyle in the hopes if finding some way to call you a hypocrite, only to THEN complain about how they don't like veg*ns "pushing their way of life" on them... And I think, man, I just want to eat, here.

:)

But you know, I have tried my best to learn to ignore them. I keep well-informed for any *real* questions. And I stop the rude treatment with a smile and a "that's nice" or a "your dinner is not my business, and my dinner is not your business."

Many meat eaters are not like this though, so we only have to deal (or not deal) with the few who are.

A great book for this topic is "Living Among the Meat Eaters: Being a Vegetarian in a Non-Vegetarian world.

Enjoy

Except for the occasional meat eater you won't find many people rubbing the fact that you don't eat meat in your face.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but they don't have a right to force their opinion on you....that's life

Who rubs it in your Face?

Meat eaters could care less that you don't eat meat.

I take that back.... I'm glad you don't eat meat....that means more meat for me!

I'm a veg so I kinda agree... but it doesn't make sense b/c why do you assume "animal is love" I don't see the connection. I'm sick of people asking what I eat and don't eat reguarding every food. I've explained, "I'm vegiterian not vegan" and "No (blank) is not meat, so yes I eat it!"

I've seen WAY more Vegans and vegitarians condeming people who eat meat than the other way around.

that doesn't make sense, but if we hadn't eaten meat, we wouldn't have the mental capacity to question the morality of it anyway. plus, veggies can't run away, an animal at least could, lol!
