Sri Lankan cuisine. It is hotter than Indian food. The way it generally works is that the closer the region is to the equator the hotter the food. Because the spicy/hot food makes one sweat thus helps cool you off. Sri Lanka is closer to the equator than India.

I made horseradish mashed potatoes once when I was learning to cook. I didn't think 1 Tbsp was enough, so I put in FOUR. My stomach burned, my eyes watered, my nose ran, and I was standing over the sink wanting to barf because of the heat.

I can easily say that was the spiciest food I've had.

Some Korean dish - it was spicy, spicy, SPICY octopus (or was it srimp???), tossed with kimchee and spicy peppers (bird's eye chilies).

I gulped down tons 'o water that day!

At a place called Wings who sold chicken wings had one called suicide which was almost pure tobasco sause with crushed red pepper on the outside. This was like 20,000,000 alarm. They only gave you one with a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk
