At a restaurant:
Contact management and notify them of the problem.
Then contact your local health department (http://www.hhs.gov/) and notify them of the situation, with the name and address of the restaurant. The local health department has up to 24 hrs to investigate the situation. Then a report must be filed by the Health Departman on the restuarant and a through inspection will be conducted on the restaurant. Usually 2-3 times a year an inspection will be done, but if a report was filed on a specfic restaurant, there will be more and frequent inspections done.

First of all, I'm going to ask for the manager. And the cook. They're running the restaurant, so cleanliness must be PRIORITIZED. Having a roach on my food (even though they say it's an accident) is not an excuse. Keeping the place clean is of upmost priority. Failing to do that, we should report it to the sanitary division of the government. They could revoke their license. They should see to it the safety of their customers' health.

There was a time I would`ve eaten the roach. Now I would tell someone in management about the roach and leave.

First, I would throw up. Then I would call the manager over and in a VERY loud voice tell him what I found in my food.

Um.... if I was in America then I would tell the waiter calmly and order something else... If I was in a another country I just set it aside and eat everything else...

I wouldn't have to tell...they'd find my meal regurgitated onto my plate. The loud retching noises would alert the crowd to the problem.

I would first call management over, and have them compensate me for the meal. Then once I got the money, I'd eat it anyway.

firstly tell the person who prepared the food for you (unless you made it) and call the company that created and imported the food.

I would eat it.
Insects are healthy and nutritious.
